Poll: How Should The Falcons Address The Backup QB Position?

With Matt Ryan entering the final year of his 5 year 103 million dollar contract. A question has come to mind for a number of people. Fans, analysts, and Falcons Owner Arthur Blank.

How much do you pay Matt Ryan?

If you consider the latest signing of 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. It will not be cheap, that we all know for certain.

That’s not the question I had in mind. After thinking about it, this is the best time to start lookin for a possible replacement for Ryan.

Why do I say this?

The way the team is structured, particularly on defense. Keanu Neal, Deion Jones, Vic Beasley, Grady Jarrett and De’Vondre Campbell. You cannot keep everyone and cutting (trading or let walk in free agency) key players is something that WILL HAPPEN.

Will Matt Ryan be cut as his career continues to unfold?

Hey, Joe Montana was cut by the 49ers. In 2013 Colts saw fit to release the great Peyton Manning largely due to salary cap issues.

I do not think Falcons have reached that point, until then here’s a question I posed to those on Twitter.
