If you love hard nose rivalry games, Thursday’s Night Falcons vs Saints rivalry game did not disappoint. Saints came into the game one of hottest teams at 9-3, with one the hottest young up-n-coming stars Alvin Kamara
Falcons were coming off yet another bad offensive performance against the now 10-2 Minnesota Vikings. Head Coach Sean Payton was confident in his revamped secondary led by cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
Safe to say he thought this would be a Breeze (😂)
When the game didn’t go as he expected with the loss of Alvin Kamara who left the game with a concussion, and the Saints offense couldn’t find a rhythm. Sean Payton full meltdown mode….
Getting into a shouting match with refs which led to unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the fourth quarter.
That’s not what has everyone talking. Peyton got into a shouting match with running back Devonta Freeman where he gave him the choke sign when the Saints were ahead 17-10 going into the fourth quarter.
Falcons then went on a 10-0 to take the lead 20-17 and eventually won the game with a spectacular interception by linebacker Deion Jones.
Sean Payton went on a tear complaining about how poorly officiated the game was…
The question I had for sports fans is whether or not Sean Payton is being a sore loser for complaining about their loss?
I went to twitter, conducted a poll and here’s what I came up with.
Are the #Saints being sore losers complaining about Thursday Night Games?
