2017 NFL Mock Draft 1-32

Had a chance to look at Mike Mayock mock draft. It’s interesting to say the least. I don’t want to take up a lot of time, so here it is…

Note: I took the liberty of adding player additions and possible draft trades.

1. Cleveland Browns Myles Garrett – According to Bob McGinn Browns are interested in taking QB Mitchell Trubisky despite head coach Hue Jackson not being sold.

2. San Francisco 49ers Jamal Adams – 49ers aren’t interested in taking Trubisky at no. 2 so it’s more than likely they’ll pass. Look out for Myles Garrett being taken if he falls. Rumors Greg Gabriel says 49ers are interested in Leonard Fournette.

3. Chicago Bears Marshon Lattimore – Bears could look DE Solomon Thomas or trade up to draft Deshaun Watson.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette – Jags could also look to DE Solomon Thomas, Joe Mixon later in the first if they don’t get Fournette.

5. Cleveland Browns via trade Tennessee Titans QB Mitchell Trubisky – Titans are looking to trade down. Taking CB Chidobe Awuzie with the 5th pick is too high for their liking.

6. New York Jets TE OJ Howard – Jets have considered drafting QB Pat Mahomes and S Malik Hooker.

7. LA Chargers DE Solomon Thomas – Lots of talk that Chargers could take McCaffrey.

8. Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey – WR Mike Williams, WR John Ross

9. Cincinnati Bengals DE Jonathan Allen – Joe Mixon has been mentioned being by the Bengals. John Ross, Dalvin Cook despite off-field issues.

10. Buffalo Bills LB Reuben Foster – could also look to trade down.

11. New Orleans Saints DE Charles Harris – CB Gareon Conley, DE Takkarist McKinley could be options.

12. Cleveland Browns Mitchell Trubisky  – talk is not going away so keep an eye on that. Tennessee Titans via Cleveland Browns WR John Ross – Hue Jackson wants DE Myles Garrett.

13. Arizona Cardinals CB Marlon Humphrey – S Marcus Maye, Reuben Foster could be a target if he falls.

14. Philadelphia Eagles WR Mike Williams – Dalvin Cook could be an option but off-field issues are a concern. Joe Mixon LB Harvey Langi are options.

15. Indianapolis Colts DE Derek Barnett – Jarrad Davis, Christian McCaffrey remain options.

16.  Baltimore Ravens LB Haason Reddick – Corey Davis, Cam Robinson and Takkarist McKinley are options.

17. Washington Redskins DE Takkarist McKinley – Charles Harris, CB Adoree Jackson are ones to keep an eye on.

18. Tennessee Titans CB Adoree Jackson – Gareon Conley could be an option if he’s available. CB Chidobe Awuzie as well.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers S Malik Hooker – RB Dalvin Cook because of his ties with Jameis Winston.

20. Denver Broncos OT Ryan Ramczyk – DE Haason Reddick, OLB TJ Watt could also come off the board here.

21. Detroit Lions WR Corey Davis – DT Caleb Brantley could be an option to help fill the void of Ndamukong Suh absence.

22. Miami Dolphins OLB TJ Watt – Forest Lamp is a major option to be picked by the Dolphins. Have shown interest in Obi Melifonwu and Chidobe Awuzie.

23. New York Giants OT Garrett Boyles – TE David Njoku, Christian McCaffrey are also on the Giants big board.

24. Oakland Raiders OT Cam Robinson – LB Zach Cunningham, DE Tanoh Kpassagnon could be an option.

25. Houston Texans QB DeShaun Watson – QB Pat Mahomes, LB Harvey Langi

26. Seattle Seahawks OG Forrest lamp – Dalvin Cook, Falcons have discussed a trade. Also OT Cam Robinson, S Obi Melifonwu.

27. Kansas City Chiefs RB Dalvin Cook – QB Pat Mahomes, LB Harvey Langi

28. Dallas Cowboys CB Tre’Davious White – Adoree Jackson, DE Charles Harris

29. Green Bay Packers RB Alvin Kamara – RB Joe Mixon, OLB Derek Rivers

30. Pittsburgh Steelers DE Jordan Willis – QB Deshon Kizer due to Big Ben’s retirement talk. Jabrill Peppers and Harvey Langi could be options.

31. Atlanta Falcons Safety Jabrill Peppers – Falcons have engaged in trade talk to move up to get Forest Lamp. Adoree Jackson, Taco Charlton could also be options.

32. Arizona Cardinals via New Orleans Saints – QB Patrick Mahomes Arizona Cardinals. – If Saints keep the pick they could draft Gareon Conley if available.

The question everyone wants to know is where do you begin?

Do you draft a quarterback first?

Do you hire the Head Coach first?
