Falcons Fam another rumor has been put to rest by Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff. A rumor started by the irritating Campbell’s.
This time Kristin Campbell was completely innocent. I cannot say that for her husband Uncle Luther “Luke” Campbell.
Falcons made a series of moves signing Quarterback Matt Schaub to a two year 9 million deal and announced they were negotiating Pro Bowl cornerback Desmond Trufant extension.
Uncle Luke wasn’t real happy about it and posted this tweet.
Thomas Dimitroff in an interview quickly shutdown the idea of Devonta Freeman is being shopped.
Here’s what Dimitroff had to say.
“We have a good dialogue,” said Dimitroff. “I think Freeman’s in a good spot. This is where he wants to be, [and] we want him to be here for years to come.”
“It’s not going to be a contentious issue in my mind. I think it’s going to be one that’s going to be fairly quick. We know what the market is and we’re confident we can get something done. Again, when the time is right. It won’t be during this free-agency period.”
I hope this puts to rest the idea that Devonta wants out of Atlanta and hopefully the Campbell’s learn to keep their DAMN MOUTH SHUT.
If not,Freeman will have to make a choice between his image (being a distraction) and firing his agent.
Hope it doesn’t go that far. But you never know in the world of entertainment.

Falcons Fans let’s be honest. No one should be surprised that general manager Thomas Dimitroff is on the hot seat.
I mean the Falcons have missed the playoffs three straight seasons. Poorly crafted draft picks and free agent misses. Most Falcons Fans have been calling for his job for years.
In fact some thought he should have been fired along with Mike Smith.
After the teams breakdown last season. Dimitroff finally admitted in an interview his job is DAMN sure on the line.
Here’s what he had to say
“Of course I’m on the hot seat. Every year I’m on the hot seat,” he told “The Talk of Fame Network” I believe that 100 percent. I believe anyone who doesn’t think they are maybe just won a Super Bowl. But I think most of us know that it’s a very urgent league now.
“You can talk to some of my contemporaries in the league as younger general managers as they’re coming through, and they realize as they step through the doorway that this is about now … this is about acquiring … and capitalizing on victories now. They may not be around for three years.”
Final Thoughts – Watching Thomas Dimitroff screw up draft picks, continuously make horrible free agent acquisitions. Questionable releasing of key players such as John Abraham Roddy White. He’s lost all support from the fan base.
The only way to change his perception from the fan base is a championship.
Other than that….. I really don’t see him lasting in Atlanta.

Falcons Fam Jeff Schultz had the chance to talk to Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff about the possibility of signing potential free agent Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice and recently released 49ers Superstar pass rusher Aldon Smith.
Thomas Dimitroff on signing Ray Rice!!
“We do not (have interest in Rice). … We’re happy with the development of our young guys at running back and we think our chemistry is right with this running back group.”
Possibility of signing Aldon Smith
There’s a lot of people that say Thomas Dimitroff should’ve been fired along with Mike Smith. He’s had draft picks that didn’t pan out, questionable roster cuts to key contributors John Abraham, and free agent signings that didn’t pan out.
Apparently Arthur Blank felt that the teams problems stemmed from bad coaching, rather than talent acquisitions. I for one agree… There were times when I saw the Defensive line play very well. Players like Jonathan Massaquoi, Stansley Maponga, Osi Umenyoira, Rashede Hageman play well and the next game they would have less than 20 snaps… Players would eventually speak out (Umenyoira & Massaquoi) and they would be benched.
So in my opinion… this is the reason why I believe Dimitroff should not have been fired. This was a classic case of a coach forcing their system on players and not putting the players in a position to succeed.
